2. Fixed radio icons appearing momentarily when exiting car in GTASA. 3. Added DisableIconDisplayWhileEntering=0 toggle which when enabled, prevents icons from displayed while entering the vehicle. Since natively this is not supported by the game (the game always displays the radio station), I added a disappearing duration of 1.5 seconds when entering the car. During this period the icons will not appear - even when pressing the button. Recommended to delete the mod folder and reinstall again.
Version 1.8 (Final Update):
1. Config Toggle for bicycle radio icon display - disabled by default.
2. Colored off button icon.
Version 1.7 update:
1. Config Toggle to disable scrolling animation while entering vehicle.
2. Config Toggle to disable scrolling animation completely.
3. Toggle to show only the active radio station (defeats the purpose of GTA IV style, but as per user requests)
4. Disabled radio icon appearing while riding bicycles.
5. Fixed Track player icon showing while entering Ambulance/Police Vehicles/Fire trucks.
6. Added fade out animation.
Version 1.6 update:
1. Fixed a scrolling issue with the radio icons on GTA VC.
2. Fixed a issue where CJ did not tweak the car dashboard while switching radio.
Version 1.5 update:
1. 256x256 HD icons for all 3 games.
2. Reworked on display logic, now icons appear faster than before.
3. Fixed a bug where radio station did not appear when entering vehicles each time.
4. Added config items for Display timeout and sliding animation speed.
Change radio station in GTA IV style!
This is a isolated version of radio station switcher extracted and enhanced from IV HUD mod of mine.
Archive contains a bundle of 3,VC,SA versions in separate folders. You can pick any one and use it.
1. Can configure icon size and gap.
2. Can choose between colorful and grey icons.
3. Can quick mute radio by pressing X.

I uploaded the video relating the 2 issues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBISMlxTp80 . in 0:18 seconds of the video you can see the radio don't want to go forward, in the second part of the video you can see how CJ touches the radio everytime I change radio station and in the last part you can see after installing your mod CJ does not touch the radio when I change radio station, hopefully you will fix these 2 issues in the next update because the mod is great and I want to use it, in gta 3 it's working absolutely fine

well like I said yesterday, in vc the issue is sometimes the radio get stuck in the off button and don't want to go forward or backward. I think the problem is ScrollingRadio.VC.asi file

in san andreas when we drive a car and change radio station from one to another CJ does an animation in which he touch that car's radio but after installing your mod CJ does not do that animation anymore, please check it. you can watch in this video how he touch the radio everytime we change radio station https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8UQJPYOQCU

I found an issue in san andreas, in vanilla game when you change the radio CJ also touch the radio with an animation but after installing this mod CJ does not touch the radio anymore but after uninstalling the mod the problem was gone, please fix this issue along with vice city's in the next update

I guess maybe the problem is ScrollingRadio.VC.asi file, not the radio_vc.txd file

@Austin 316 I can't recreate it, the texture is a left over from editing and will not cause any issue. the game will read predefined set of textures only.

I found 1 little issue only in vice city. sometimes the radio get stuck in the off button and don't want to go forward or backward, maybe it's happening because there are 2 off buttons in the radio_vc.txd file (off_button & off_button_gray). I put the mod in the root directory of the game and checked it but the issue is present, please fix it in the next update

now it's working, thank you. I have a request for you.. can you please make the radio icons in 256x256 resolution in the next update, so that icons can be look more sharp and HD?

yes, I copied everything from the archive to modloader and even increase the priority over other mods but the radio station names changed to white square box

Thank you, it's nice to see that in a sea of slop for SA and V, at least the underrated games do get quality mods.
