Really? I do think that one's beautiful. Makes more justice to the HD-era Pfister's.
How about this?
V1 body with the features from V2 (like that aperture for a trunk next to the engine bay), and MAYBE a reshape of the boot vents. The best design of vent bars you can get based on, is the one from Comet from GTA IV:

(The corners of the basins can be sharp, in favor of an optimal application of polygons)
With all that, you'll be doing the best remake we've ever seen, that would only need a VC version. Trust me 😎
