I tweaked this mod for myself, but since I saw a few people requesting this kind of mod I decided to post it online.
I did not make the mod myself, I just altered some settings. To create the effect I wanted, I used the SweetFX preset of K-Putt.
Basically what this mod does, is making nights way darker, and with that (unfortunately?) the shadows at daylight.
I also tried to make lights a little brighter, in this way players are happy to have flashlights on their guns and with headlights of the vehicles.
Ajust your game brightness to your own likings, I prefer having it nearly all the way down.
If you want to use the darker nights in an other preset, just copy the setting from levels and liftgammagain (and maybe bloom, if you want to).
To enable the mod ingame: press f12.

this is like to realistic which is too dark to play. just make it a little more brighter and it will good :)

Well, you have several options to solve that. The first one is for me the most straight forward: lower your brightness. If that doesn't work you have to change the settings from the fx in the fx_settings file placed in the sweetfx folder. You could change two things here: levels and/or liftgammagain. Up the value of levels to 4 or 5, this makes the night very dark, but i didnt want to do that because the game wont look very good at daylight. If you lower the setting from the shadows in liftgammagain by 0.100 it should look a little darker as well.

hey, for me the game is only a little darker, but nothing very significant, how do I become exactly like the screen-shots?
