I have the guts of adapting the sounds in GTA IV too! Watch Dogs Gun Sounds interests me, and it also fits in the atmosphere of the game.
This mod has a complete gun pack for each GTA IV weapon.

@dmential use OpenIV, locate your GTA IV file location, and then go to pc/audio/sfx/resident and replace WEAPONS
