This mod is not my total authorship, all credits go to Michael Wojtanis, without him this modification would not have been possible :)
-Adding a more minimalistic design as in Next Gen GTAV
-Adding high-quality weapon icons
-and other small things
Remember you must have Scripthook, asiloader,
It works for all patches including CompleteEdition, if you don't believe me watch this video

Works like a charm on current CE version. Looks great too.
If you want to use controller:
-Open GTA_5_HUD.ini file in Notepad
-6th option down will be "USE_XBOX_CONTROLLER". Change the "false" to "true".
-The default key is left on the dpad, so you may want to change the 1st option (DISABLE_OLD_SWITCHING) to true as well.
-Save the changes and load the game.
If you want to rebind which button you use on controller, halfway down you'll find a [KEYS] section. The options that start with XBOX_BUTTON are the ones you want to change and these are the numbers you use:
Left Bumper = 4
Left Trigger = 5
Right Bumper = 6
Right Trigger = 7
Dpad Up = 8
Dpad Down = 9
Dpad Left = 10
Dpad Right = 11
Start = 12
Back/Select = 13
X = 14
Y = 15
A = 16
B = 17
L3 (Click left stick) = 18
R3 (Click right stick) = 19

The reason it ight not be working for some of you guys is because of how you might not have .net scripthook and you need it because one of the files needs the loader.

Working for me... You need scripthook and create a scripts folder in the main directory and paste this mod in the scripts folder.

I have ASI loader and Scripthook already installeed stil not working. I pressed the key severasl times but the weapon wheel just wont apear!

Firstly, gun select menu that appears when I press Tab is not looking good in 1366x768 resolution. Also even I cannot select a gun from menu, mouse move does nothing, shift key to switch weapon is only working once. It needs to be improved.
