I bring you a perfect filler of Liberty City's traffic, the Asterope GZ from GTAO The Chop Shop update.
It was a highly anticipated port, and for good reason - this vehicle is based on Toyota Camry XV30 which was one of the most popular vehicles on NY roads. IV didn't feature equivalent of this car, which is crimeful. Now you can fill this gap.
Vehicle features proper dirt/spec mapping, LODs, IV style panel gaps, vertex AO, appropriate polycount and it's not bloated with millions of tuning parts.
Like many other Online vehicles, Asterope GZ had a potential to be decent looking vehicle but was ultimately ruined by many stupid design decisions. I tried to make it look less atrocious by implementing the following changes:
- Replaced disgusting wheels with more appropiate ones that are also paintable
- Swapped default rear bumper to the "Rounded Rear Bumper" tuning option
- Changed Coquette-style interior to a more fitting Schafter/Oracle interior type
- Spoiler can now spawn as an extra component (with functioning brake light)
- Added chrome grill that can spawn as an extra component
- Added front plate
- "Asterope" badge was added

Great mod but the car doesn't load properly if I go a few meters away, and has a weird purple tint on the windows, is this the intended effect?..

Hi, I'm a big fan of your work especially this wonderful car *_* but I have a little problem with it, it does not load very quickly in the game and at a distance it has purple glass front, side and rear, I come closer and everything becomes normal, but it's annoying very( I would like the car immediately loaded =( ( the same problem with felino) tell me what can this be due to?

Man, this is really nice I was hoping to see someone bring this over and you’ve done an immaculate job of it! Every choice you’ve made has brought it up to much higher quality than the original! Can’t wait to see what you do next!
